We strive to make your furniture delivery experience stress free and enjoyable. The respect and care our seasoned professionals exercise with your home and belongings will put you at ease. Your new furniture will be installed in the room you specify and any packing materials will be removed from your home.
The delivery rate in the Fargo/Moorhead area is $59. Extended delivery by our personnel may be scheduled at a rate of $1.50 per mile, based on the one way distance, this includes a team of two delivery persons. If the delivery can be accomplished with one delivery person the rate will be $1.20 per mile (one way distance).
Please have the space for your new furniture cleared in advance of our arrival.
Shipping can be arranged to all areas. The most efficient method will vary depending on the item(s) and location. Please contact us and we will obtain a price quote and recommend the best shipping method for your situation.
Special Orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50% at the time of order. The balance is due when the order arrives at Scan Design. Failure to pay within 30 days of notification of arrival may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposit. Special Orders cancelled within the first 72 hours of placement will receive a refund.
Estimated order time frames are based upon manufacturer’s recommendations, order requirements and past history. Scan Design cannot be held responsible for arrival delays beyond our control, including but not limited to production delays, shipping delays, and fabric delays.
Items awaiting pick up or delivery, that are stored by Scan Design for more than 30 days, will incur a storage fee of 3% of the original purchase price per month, following the first 30 day period. Unless special arrangements are made with Scan Design, failure to pick up or have delivered any item stored for more than 3 months will entitle Scan Design to pursue its lawful remedies.
All personal information provided to Scan Design is protected and kept private. Scan Design does not sell, lease or give away customer information from our mailing or e-mail list files. Your information is used solely to keep you informed of special offers, products or services from Scan Design.
Some of the product lines at Scan Design are designed for self assembly. These arrive at our warehouse flat packed and contain pictorial instructions, as well as the appropriately sized Allen key. These items are well priced because of the freight cost efficiency of flat packing.
We offer professional assembly, if you would rather not do it yourself. The charge is 15% of the item price.
It is our sincere wish that you should be happy with your selections from Scan Design. As such, we try to keep the return process simple and straight forward.
* Please be aware that not all items are returnable. All sales are final and may not be cancelled or returned in the following circumstances:
Special Orders (see notes on deposits)
Non-clearance items that have been stored for more than 10 days
All services performed
Any item that has been altered by or for the customer
Any item that has been used or repaired without authorization from Scan
Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
* Returnable items include regular stock merchandise and non-clearance floor models.
These items may be returned in the same condition they were received within 10 days of purchase. Items removed from their original packing may only be returned at the sole discretion of Scan Design with a minimum restocking fee of 15%. All returns will be inspected.
Purchases made by credit card will be refunded to the original credit card. Purchases made by check or cash will be refunded by check within 21 days. Purchases made by gift certificate or store credit will be refunded by store credit.
